Andrew Mitchard
Senior Associate
Areas of specialisation: General commercial law and commercial litigation, including secured debt recovery, personal injury work in the medical negligence and motor vehicle accident areas.
Memberships: Law Society of South Australia, Australian Lawyers Alliance (State Committee Member), American Association for Justice.
Andrew commenced practice in 1992 in general practice with a concentration on personal injury matters. Over the years he has broadened into commercial litigation and commercial work, including secured debt recovery, tax advice, and general property law matters. He has a mix of both business and individual clients. Having broad areas of interest has proved useful many times as commercial and taxation issues become more and more relevant in many matters and it is extremely important to take them into account when giving advice.
In terms of personal injury matters, Andrew has undertaken both small claims and large "catastrophe" claims and enjoys being able to help out people who have been badly affected by their injuries.
Andrew is a keen follower of cricket and AFL and enjoys spending his spare time with his family.
